Designer Concept Central recently sent us a video for a new iPhone concept, the iPhone SE 2023. The designer is unhappy with Apple’s lack of inspiration for the 2022 iPhone SE. He sees this as an iPhone launched in a few years from now priced at $549.

Concept Central also sees it as manufactured from recycled parts from previous iPhones, in order to keep the price lower. This model would get an iPhone 12 body, a lower amount of RAM and also a singular main camera. It should also operate like a new model. To me this device kind of channels the iPhone XR, especially judging by the colors and general approach. The main camera is quite protruding here and I’m guessing that algorithms will have to do some heavy lifting to compensate for the lack of a Bokeh, telephoto or ultrawide camera. Bokeh can be achieved from software, digital zoom too, but ultrawide… not quite. Honestly I think that the era of iPhone SE is gone once and for all. The rumored canning of the iPhone 14 Mini also adds to that theory, if you ask me, but we’ll learn more on September 7th, when Apple holds its event
