 Hackers Leak Data From Institue of Space Technology & Demanded $500,000 in Return

Earlier this month, ransomware was used to attack the Institute of Space Technology (IST), and the hackers wanted $500,000 in payment for the data they had stolen.

This material appeared to be made up of passport information, pay stubs, details of analyses, and other private employee information.

There is no public access to this information on a Telegram channel, presumably due to non-compliance, there is no proof of this.


We’ve tried contacting IST once again, but it seems that their website is down.
