How to use Instagram’s ‘Reveal’ Sticker
Instagram recently released an all-new ‘Reveal’ sticker which can be used to post a hidden story for your followers to uncover.
For iPhone and Android:
- Open the Instagram app and swipe left to access the Story creation screen.
- Capture a photo or video for your story, or choose one from your gallery.
- Tap the sticker icon (square smiley face icon) at the top of your screen.
- Search for "Reveal" in the sticker tray (use the magnifying glass icon if needed).
- Select the "Reveal" sticker. You'll be prompted to add a hint that will entice viewers to uncover the hidden content. This hint can be a question, a clue, or anything that sparks curiosity.
- Tap the "Preview" button (bottom left corner on iPhone, bottom right corner on Android) to see how your story will look to your followers.
- Once you're happy with your story, tap "Your Story" (bottom center on iPhone, bottom right corner on Android) to share it.
How Followers Reveal Your Story:
- Unlike other interactive stickers, viewers won't be able to tap or swipe to reveal the hidden content.
- The only way for them to see what's behind the sticker is to send you a Direct Message (DM).
- You don't need to approve the message; once they send it, they'll be able to see the hidden photo or video.
Additional Notes:
- There's no limit to the number of Reveal stickers you can add to your story.
- This sticker is a great way to create intrigue and encourage interaction with your followers through DMs.
