Unbiased reviews are paramount at Kinghacks365. All reviews, buying guides, and roundups are based on thorough research, benchmark testing, real-world use, and our team's deep tech expertise. Advertisers and affiliate partners have no influence over our coverage. We accept no money, gifts, or favors from companies in exchange for reviews.
Travel and Events
Companies often offer complimentary travel and accommodation for tech events. Kinghacks365 only accepts such offers if covering the event independently is impossible. In the rare instance where we accept sponsored travel, it will be clearly disclosed in the resulting article.
How We Choose and Test Products
We select products for review independently, without influence from our parent company or advertisers. We utilize a 1-100 scoring system, with the final rating determined solely by our editorial team.
Products are typically loaned to us by manufacturers free of charge. In most cases, we return the hardware after the review period. We may occasionally hold onto a unit for long-term testing, but under no circumstances does it become reviewer property. Reselling review units is strictly prohibited.
Our Testing Process
Kinghacks365 reviews incorporate a blend of quantitative and qualitative testing. Benchmarks vary depending on the product, but we approach evaluations from a consumer's perspective. We're early adopters, love tinkering, and have a deep passion for tech. While we spend extensive time with smartphones, laptops, and other gadgets, we still ask the same questions you do: Does it live up to its promises? How does it compare to similar products? Who would benefit most from this device? Ultimately, is it worth your money?
To answer these questions, we use review products as if they were our own. For instance, we might carry a smartphone for days, testing its camera, playing games, and using it daily. We might write a laptop review on the device itself, evaluating keyboard comfort during extended typing sessions. When reviewing music equipment, we test its usability for both beginners and experienced creators, assessing build quality, versatility, and overall value.
Context is Everything
We understand gadgets exist within a broader context. Placing them in context is just as important as evaluating features and performance. This involves comparing a device to competitors, but also critically considering who would get the most out of it and if the price justifies its value. There's no perfect gadget, but one might be perfect for you.
Video Game Reviews
Video game journalism requires a different approach. Kinghacks365 publishes previews, reviews, and trend pieces on gaming. Previews will disclose the amount of playtime and which modes we had access to. Review codes are often provided before a game's public release. We strive to complete every game we review, but for certain titles (like League of Legends), we commit to playing enough to provide a comprehensive understanding. Unlike some publications, we don't assign numerical scores. Instead, our reviews offer a blend of opinion, critique, and analysis.
